# Hands-free (UWB) unlock {% embed url="" %} When your organization has Ultra-wideband (UWB) enabled, you can set up UWB hands-free door unlock with a few simple steps. {% hint style="info" %} UWB access means you don’t have to have your phone in your hand when you want to unlock a door, you can keep your phone in your pocket. {% endhint %} 1. Make sure that you have set up Accessia app with the correct permissions. To do this, in Accessia app go to Profile > Permissions and make sure each item is ticked 2. Tap the Accessia Reader with your phone. This will bring up a pairing dialog on your phone screen 3. From the pairing dialog, tap ‘Pair’ 4. Your phone will show you a Bluetooth Pairing Request dialog, tap ‘Pair’ again 5. You’ll now see a screen that tells you UWB has been successfully enabled, tap 'Done' 6. You can now use UWB for hands-free unlock.
