### **What’s in the box?**

* Accessia Hub
* Hub key

### **What you’ll need**

**Equipment**

* 4 x 5mm diameter (no. 10) panhead screws and wall anchors suitable for the wall surface the Hub will be mounted on
* Tools for mounting, wiring, and knocking out and deburring cable apertures
* Appropriately sized conduit and bushes for all wiring external to the Hub
* 3mm flat-head screwdriver for wiring terminals

**Network and AC mains connection**

The Hub requires a connection to the local area network using 100BaseT Ethernet. This local area network must permit HTTPS connections to the internet. The Hub will automatically use this connection to establish a secure connection to Accessia’s cloud

### **Wiring guide**

* For the AC mains connection, see [Connecting mains and battery power](/hardware/ai-security-hub-hub-v1/mains-and-battery-power.md). Make sure that the AC mains is isolated before starting any wiring activities inside the Hub enclosure
* All other wiring in the system is safety extra low voltage (SELV) and should not be connected to any voltage greater than 30 VDC. The wiring to the DC power input and battery connection terminals is already provided using 16AWG wire. For the remaining connections, use a wire gauge in the range 14 to 24 AWG, making sure that the wire gauge is suitable for the maximum current being conducted
* The network connection must be made using Cat5 (or better) cable

### **2.** [**Connecting mains and battery power**](/hardware/ai-security-hub-hub-v1/mains-and-battery-power.md)

### **3. Connecting a channel**

The Hub supports up to four channels. For each channel, there are connections for:

* Up to two OSDP Readers (including RS485 signal pair and 12VDC power supply)\*
* One lock
* Two inputs with dual end-of-line (DEOL) monitoring support

Two groups of terminals are provided for the lock: wet and dry

\**2 readers per channel coming soon*
