# Network requirements

| **Network requirement** | 100BaseT Ethernet | 1000BaseT Ethernet |

* This local area network must permit HTTPS connections to the internet
* The Hub will automatically use this connection to establish a secure connection to Accessia’s cloud

Note that the network connection is in a different position inside the enclosure dependent upon whether the Hub is a Security Hub v1 or an AI Security Hub
